What we collect

Video you upload — processed automatically (transcription, clip selection, rendering) and deleted from our servers within 24 hours. We don't watch it, review it, or use it for anything besides producing your clips.
Transcript text derived from your video, used only to select and caption your clips.
Cookies — a random ID to track your free-plan usage and a session cookie if you sign in with Google. None of these are sold or shared with advertisers directly by us.
Your email address, but only if you sign in with Google or provide one for a completion notification — used solely to identify your account and/or send that notification.
Google account info (email, account ID) if you use Sign in with Google, verified directly with Google — we never see your Google password.

Third parties we use

Google — for Sign-In (OAuth) and to serve ads via Google AdSense on the free plan.
PayPal — processes Pro plan payments; we never see or store your card details.
Resend — delivers the optional "clips are ready" completion email.

Advertising & cookies

Free-plan pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Data retention

Uploaded videos and generated clips are deleted within 24 hours. Usage counters (to enforce the free-plan limit) are kept indefinitely to prevent abuse. Your account cookie, if you sign in, lasts up to one year or until you sign out.

Your rights

You can sign out at any time to clear your account cookie. You can revoke Peakcut's access to your Google account from your Google Account settings. To request deletion of an email address you've given us, contact us below.

Children's privacy

Peakcut is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
